Villa Carminati Resta
Villa Carminati Resta is an elegant neoclassical villa located on the shores of Lake Como, in the Borgo Vico district. Its construction dates back to 1787, when Teresa Carminati commissioned the residence, based on a design attributed to architect Felice Soave, contributing to the development of the prestigious sequence of historic villas that define this part of the lake.
The villa overlooks a refined neoclassical garden with Italian-style flower beds and direct access to the lakeside, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Alongside the main historic building, the property also includes restored spaces created from former service buildings, now transformed into versatile areas such as a loft and a charming glass bioclimatic greenhouse, ideal for receptions and events.
Thanks to its blend of history, elegance, and scenic indoor and outdoor spaces, Villa Carminati Resta is a refined and atmospheric venue for weddings, private celebrations, and exclusive events on Lake Como.
